Bude Based Top Grade Driving Instructor
Jenny Hayes Driving schools Bude driving Instructor Graham Didwell’s pupil Marie was involved in an unfortunate accident involving a Duck, the driving school car and an unobservant motorist.
Marie a pupil of Jenny Hayes Driving School based in Bude Cornwall was enjoying her driving lesson with highly experienced Bude based driving instructor Graham Didwell when suddenly a duck landed on the road in front of them, it had mistaken the road for the Bude Canal, Marie in an instant deployed the emergency stop manoeuvre, stopping under control Marie avoided hitting the duck, which remained sitting in the road, oblivious to it’s near death experience. Sadly the following car driver was not so observant and was travelling too close to the driving school car and with a screech of brakes ran into the back of the driving school car. No one was injured and the Duck flew off complaining bitterly that it’s peace and quiet had been disturbed.
The insurance claim made interesting reading and Graham’s diagram of the duck sitting on the Bude Road prior to the accident was highly commended by the Zurich claims assessor
