About Us

Jenny Hayes School of Motoring is an independent driving school established in 1999 by David & Jenny Hayes. The success of the business over the last ten years has seen us grow from just one instructor to over 35 cars covering the whole of Devon and Cornwall, helping around 1500 learner drivers to pass their test each year.

Equally we have worked on our reputation, establishing us as one of the most progressive driving schools in the South West of England. Our continuous training programme ensures all our driving instructors exceed industry standards for professional development, working towards a high level of teaching practice to produce safe, competent and confident drivers.

In December 2005 we achieved ORDIT Registration to expand our Driving Instructor Training business and allowing us to train independent candidates alongside our own driving instructors throughout Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.
