Terms & Conditions

• We will at all times behave in a professional manner towards you
• You will be treated with respect and consideration
• We will try to avoid physical contact except in an emergency or in the normal course of greeting
• We reserve the right to refuse tuition, however we will not act in any way which contravenes legislation on discrimination 
• We will advise you when to book your theory and practical test
• We will not cancel or change your driving test without your agreement (we reserve the right to refuse the use of the car, if it is felt you are not ready for a test)
• We will not cancel or change your driving lesson without consultation (where it is necessary to cancel your lesson e.g. When another client has a driving test we will arrange a suitable alternative time)
• We will endeavour not to be late for your tuition
• We will give you 14 days notice of any price increases
• We will at all times to the best of our ability teach you correct driving skills according to the DSA's syllabus
• We operate under the Code of Practice for Approved Driving Instructors (copies available on request)

What we expect

• You will give us 24 hours notice of cancellation otherwise the full fee will be chargeable
• You will be in a fit state to drive a motor vehicle
• You should be ready at the designated time and place to start your tuition
• You are asked not to smoke in the driving school vehicle
• You must disclose any information which may affect your ability to drive a motor vehicle
• On your first lesson you must be able to read a standard number plate at a distance of 20.5 Metres and be able to prove this to your instructor
• On your first lesson you must be in possession of a valid provisional driving licence which must be available for inspection by your driving instructor (for overseas licence conditions please enquire)
• Restrictions to Guaranteed tuition on Birthday - Special Occasions. Available every day except Sunday's, bank or public holidays. (The nearest day before or after will be offered). 14 days notice required to guarantee date.
• When using own vehicle -Vehicle must be in a road worthy condition and Proof of valid insurance must be provided
• Test booking service: payment must be made prior to booking a test on your behalf.

terms of payment

• We will safegaurd and account for any monies paid in advance to the driving school and will make the details available on request
• All of our instructors are self employed, we cannot safegaurd any monies paid direct to the instructor,this is a private contract between you and the instructor
• You will pay us promptly prior to your lesson. We accept most credit / debit cards,cash or cheques made payable to Jenny Hayes School of Motoring
